Strange icon appearinng all of a sudden near picture files in vista

I suddenly started noticing that certain picture files seem to randomly have this small icon (two small emoticon people sort of the one available in windows live messenger) I have included a snapshot of the icon in question . Why is this happening as it is quite puzzling. I did install a media center extender recently (Xbox 360) I think this started after that install. What exactly does that icon mean as I have never seen it before, and why does it seem to be random?

Thanks in advance, even if the question seems dumb im a bit perplexed.

Just means that these are available for the Mediacenter Extender. No issues.

No problem! I have the same thing in mine because I am using and extender and a Xbox 360. The default folders are shared.
