Hey guys, when I import an Outlook 07 PST to Exchange 2007 I seem to lose all of the color coding on the calendars. Do you guys know why this is happeninng, and how i can prevent this?

I have a few users who depend on this feature, and can not lose it when cutting over to ex 07.

Thank you.

Does it happen if you copy it over to the exchange server instead of importing it.  If not than I have an easy way for you to move all the calendar items over to the Exchange server.

I am kind of new to the exchange experience, although I would like to learn. How would I go about doing it the way you suggest?

Copy over the calendar items (as apposed to importing them) do the following

Since you are using Outlook 2007;
1)      Open your calendar
2)      Go to View > current view > define views
3)      Click on the New button
4)      Make sure the Table option is chosen and add a name like All, then click OK
Now your calendar should just be a bunch of line items.
5)      Choose Edit > Select All then Edit > copy
6)      Open the calendar on the server and paste all the calendar items into the Exchange account
7)      When youare done switch your view back by going to View > arrange by > current view > Day/Week/Month

Outlook 2007 is similar in step two instead you use; View > current view > define views.
