Recurring Appointments on Public Calendar are all duplicated -

All our recurring appointments on Exchange 2003 Public Calendars have been duplicated now. Regular appointments are OK though. Recently we tried to restore a mailbox on a Recovery Storage group but it failed as another mailbox was already been restored and mounted there and it then attempted to update LIVE database. Which it failed. However it did restore files on MTADATA folder. This could be the reason why we have duplicate appointments? We only found this problem after this failed backup though.

Is he syncing his calendar to a mobile device?. Also let me know did you check here

Im not syncing my calendar with any mobile device. As mentioned earlier that i did a failed restore that restored some files in mtadata. Our sites are in London, York and Bradford. Only the recurring appointments are duplicated rest of them are fine across all 3 sites. We have too many public calendars hence dont want to manually delete duplicate recurring appointments

I had to delete all recurring appointments manually. It didnt duplicate itself
