Poweredge 2600 server wont start? anyway to check whats wrong?

After a power blackout this server woudnt start, it boots into windows 2000 server shows the splash screen and starting windows 2000 server and then comes with the blue screen showing INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. tried safe mode same thing.

I am also confused at boot perc controller shows it has found two logical drives but "0" physical drives, is that a normal message? In perc utility all drives show online and cant see problems with them. I think mostly problem might be with the installation getting corrupt, i tried booting with windows 2000 server disk but that reports no physical drives.

Any pointers to help me sort this?

Your disks are in trouble, first port of call would be to run chkdsk. More info on troubleshooting this particular problem here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/reskit/prork/prhd_exe_qhzo.mspx?mfr=true

Hope your backups work!  Good luck.
