I have a core cisco 7505 router that has two gigabit ethernet modules in it.  Both are setup exactly the same and are connected to identical gbics on the other end.  When it type show int on the cli one says the the flow control in and out is unsupported.  I have attached the show int for the gigabit ethernet interfaces.  Can these setting be changed?

Flowcontrol is off by default just use the flowcontrol on command to turn it on.
With that said unless you have a reason to turn it on such as congestion on the line I would leave it off.

The link was close but the IOS must have been an older version.  It did not have the 'flow' option.  Bailed on the whole thing since I was in the process of installing a new core layer 3 switch.  But thanks for the help.
