Is there any way to recover a message dropped by IMF in Exchange 2003?
We have recently moved from Exchange 5.5 to 2003.
Today a user reported that she had not received a message that we had released from our spam filter (MailMarshal). On tracking the message in Exchange I got the following:
SMTP: Message submitted to advanced queuing
SMTP: Start message submission to advanced queue
SMTP: Message submitted to categorizer
SMTP: Message categorized and queued for routing
SMTP: Non-delivered report (NDR) generated
A collegue believes this is because of IMF dropping the message. Is this likely to be correct? and given the above is there any way of recovering the message?
Thank you.

After learning a bit more, I have found that IMF is not enabled in the properties of the SMTP server. So this message must have been dropped for another reason. Does anyone know how I can go about finding out why?
