How can I unlock a locked-by-default section on a Activity Form?

We are attempting to write extra on-change script into the Appointment-Activity date fields, but the SECTION of the form is locked, and thus the field can not even be opened.  How can the section be unlocked for the field to be edited?

As was indicated in the CRM forum:
If you are talking about the "Scheduling Information" I don't think you can unlock the section.

It is so tightly integrated into all of the other entities, so MSFT protected it.  What are you trying to do?
