Google Website Optimizer and Dynamic Content

I am interested in utilizing Google Website Optimizer to optimize some of our pages (www.buytough.com). I am currently running a very basic experiment that has to do with the positioning of the "buy now" button and seems to be working well. BUT, I want to run an experiment with the positioning / style of our Phone Number and I'm having difficulty figuring out how to do it.

Our phone number is dynamically generated (by ClickPath) based upon the referring source and/or a certain code in the Querystring. This information is stored in a Session Variable. But, as the test code is served from Google, I don't believe I will be able to access a Session Variable.

Any suggestions/ideas??

Just found this on the following Google help page
https://www.google.com/analytics/siteopt/siteopt/help/FAQ.html#ws207

Can I use Website Optimizer if I have a dynamically generated page?
You can use Website Optimizer if your pages are dynamically generated. However, due to the nature of the tool, you won't be able to test individual sections of your page that are dynamic. For example, you'd be able to test .cgi pages, but not specific fields or sections of those pages that are database-driven.

Maybe checking the Google Group located at http://groups.google.com/group/websiteoptimizer where a Google Engineer may assist you with your query.

Hope this helps.

I ended up just using javascript and the __utmz cookie set by Google Analytics to change the phone number style.
