In outlook 2003 if I take a sent message and forward it. Anything I write comes up in blue text instead of black. Furthermore... If I go to make changes to the text of the message i'm forwarding extra spaces are put around the words. For example.

Say I'm forwarding the following message...

"I like your car Jim"

So I hit "forward" and want to insert "new" betweek "your" and "car" it comes out like this...

"i like your[space][space]new[space][space]car Jim"

There is an extra space on each side & the font of "new" is blue.

Thanks in advance for your help...

BTW... under mail format, i'm not using Word 2003 to edit messages. Message format is HTML.

Answer is: in the main Outlook 2003 menu, go to:

Tools > Options > [Mail Settings] tab > Fonts > Choose Font When Replying & Forwarding.
