Blackberry Messagin agent

Hello
I have rebooted our server (win2k3 standard) and the server is stuck at "Apply computer settings"

This server has a BES 4.0 installed

I am receiving alerts from the BES server now indicating these messages to my mailbox as I have enabled notifcation

Disable your BlackBerry Controller service, and look into the Controller and Messaging Agent logs to find what is going wrong. The Controller service is the one that starts the Agents.

Where do I find the log files and which errors should I be looking for?

typically..
C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs

Controller logs have CONT in the name. Messaging agents say MAGT.

I cant say the errors for sure, every situation is different. typically it will spit stuff out right before it closes the agent.

-Reinstalled the Exchange System Manager tool
-Re-applied the BES admin permissions to Exchange
-Removed the MAPI settings within the registry and re-configed the MAPI service

Now working an booting up

Awesome. Without seeing the errors I coudlnt say what your issue was, my guess is the MAPI settings though. You did a great job at following the recommended troubleshooting steps.
