Hi,

I just installed Ubuntu 7.10 on my machine.  Ubuntu automatically configure my wiress card.  The problem is that I only get 4% to 11% signal.  The router is close to my computer and I usually get 100% or around 80% in the worst case when I'm running windows on this machine.  My Internet speed is not extremely slow, but it is slower than usual.  This is my wireless card: SMC SMCWPCI-G EZ Connect

Any idea what Ubuntu is using for a driver?  SMC doesn't have anything but windows drivers for that card on their website.
