THe Universe itself I don't believe can be used by other applications, but the DATABASE on which the Universe is designed against CAN...<br />

I have an installation of BO 6.5. &nbsp;I am not too familiar with the product. &nbsp;I was wondering if its possible to either determine the data source that a Universe is using; or whether the Universe can be used as a data provider for another application. &nbsp;Effectively, I need to extract data from a source that BO uses, and I guess that can be done either by knowing the data source (which I'll need to extract from BO) or by using BO itself as the data provider. &nbsp;<br />

Effectively, I need to extract data from a source that BO uses, and I guess that can be done either by knowing the data source (which I'll need to extract from BO) or by using BO itself as the data provider.
