hi experts

we will install a fresh exchange 2007 server in our orgnisation
we agreed on the   HUB   MAILBOX     UM   roles to be separated one in each server  for performance purpose
recieving the outsidwe emails through the HUB

is there any document that shows how to install this type of architecture
i am mostly interested in the config between those roles (it should be a type of connection between these servers right)  or should i say servers ?
one more question do i need win 2003 64 bit for all these roles or just in the mailbox server ?

any help is  highly apreciated
thanks

Hi,
No configurations as such will be required, as they will be part of same Exchange Organization and AD Forest they will find each other.
Only configurations to Policies etc etc will be done each of them for your environment and compliance etc.

Hi,
You can go ahead Mailbox and then CAS/HUb assuming that this is a fresh Exchange org.
If you are joiinig existing Exchange 2k3 org, then CAS/HUb/Mailbox in the sequence.
