Trying to implement windows webdav with Coldfusion

I am attempting to implement a webdav front-end to a document management system using coldfusion.  there is a similar project using ASP.net http://thehojusaram.blogspot.com/2007/06/c-webdav-server-with-sql-backend-source.html  but i would like to use coldfusion as the rest of the application is in CF.  I can't find answers to the following hurdles to implementing this:
1. Can Coldfusion respond to http verbs other than get and post such as propfind, put etc?
2. Can CF accept uploads using the http put command
3. Can you make CF respond to request for non-existent files and folders?  I can gte IIS to pass the request on to CF, but i can't make it respond...

thanks
Ed

I was pretty sure CF has built in WebDAV server capabilities because it offers DreamWeaver access. But now I learned from here that CF is using its own protocol RDS to allow design access to CF folders:

Thanks.
All the articles use Microsoft's internal webdav handler..  I am looking to bypass that and use CF.  I don't think CF handles it natively (there isn't a cfwebdav tag) but I am willing to craft the responses by hand using cfheader and sending back xml.  I just need to figure out if cf will work with the above issues
