Hp Proliant DL180G5 is new and working properly with OS 2003 and no error in Device manager and Event viewer but 2 led activity on HDD not working.<br />

- plugged/wired in backward from the factory (leds are one way, they have to be wired positive and negative)<br />
- wire/connection is broken<br />
- the circuit on the mobo is pooched<br />

The first thing to do is see if you can get the led to light up, either by swapping it to the pins the power led is on, or applying 5/12v to the unplugged connector.
