Trying to deploy logon in ASP.NET using the logon tools provided from Visual Web Developer 2008.  Localy things work great however my rollout to the production server crashes with "error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified".   I can provide more of the error details if necessary.   This is a shared server from a provider.  I do not have access to the configs of the server.   I understand this is a common problem and that there is a work around.   I am finding bits but have given up with them and am starting fresh from a blank sheet.

Are you connecting to a named instance of SQL rather than a default?
