I have a number of users that have items cached in there outbox even though the emails have been sent by our exchange server. They should move to the sent items but they refuse to, anyone come across this problem before.

Its OUTLOOK 2007 SP1 with Exchange 2007 SP1

I have seen this when the ost is corrupt. If you are running cached mode you can recreate the ost. Close outlook rename or delete ost file. Then start outlook and it will be recreated. If they have a large mailbox might want to make sure they are on the lan as it can take a while to recreate.
