Configuring mailbox within outlook

I have 2 domain controllers, 2 Exchange servers 2003,
when i configure users on exchange1 the outlook can resolve the username correctly
But
When i try to configure other user on other exchange2 this error message appear
"The action cannot be completed. The connection to microsoft exchange is unavilable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action"
and when i write in the server name the name of other server ""the user on exchange 2"" which is exchange1 the user name checked will and the server name changed automatically to exchange2
anyone can help in this issue

Are your Exchange servers installed on same server as DC

Is this happening for all users on Exchange2 or only one particular user
DNS is ok right?

This for all users on server2, and the DNS is OK
the problem occured with outlook 2007 but outlook 2003 is working fine

just we install SP for MS outlook 2007,
and the issue has been solved
