web site re-directing

Hi Everyone,

How do you configure IIS Server to re-direct web sites to specific servers?  For example, the site www.company.com is hosted on \\Server1, which is running IIS.  How can I configure IIS to redirect www.company.com/site1 to \\Server2?

Greatly Appreciated,

Theodosios

Configure Server2 to respond to www2.company.com (Or another subdomain of your choice).

In the default document for www.company.com/site1, put in the code shown.

When a user goes to www.company.com/site1 it will resolve to the IP of Server1, and server1's IIS will return the index.html file, which will have a meta refresh redirecting to www2.company.com, which will resolve to server2 & IIS will serve on Server 2, whatever it has.
