Send/Recieve icon keeps flickering when I send a an email to a bunch of people

I am not sure if all the emails are going through.  Also, I cannot delete the outgoing email or stop sending it.
When I try, it says the file is full.  I just posted a question in regard to me not being able to delete a friends emails because it always says "file is full" when I try and delete his emails.  I had to engage the "work offline" because I am not sure if I am sending out the same email over and over to my friends.
Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello Walk2008,

Close Outlook. Search for PST file and run ScanPST on the the PST file.

If no joy, your PST may be in old ANSI format.  It as a 2 GB storage limit.  Upgrading Outlook does not upgrade the data file.
You would need to create a new data file, in native unicode format, set that new data files as default (via Mail Applet or Data File management, with Outlook closed) Then copy data from your old set to the new set of Personal Folders.
