I'm sorry i was not specific, ORM = Optical Mark Recognition These are a set or lines printed on documents that indicates to a machine the following info:

1.- Begining of document set (1st page)
2.- page sequence
3.- End of document set

and not is not a part of the db it relates to the number of pages per reprot.

Thanks for you quick answer

Not sure if barcodes will work, I was doing research on another forums and someone used dashes to create the lines,

 Is there a way to have CR do the following:
 i want to insert some txt fields in the report on the position were the omr should be and tell CR to only print this text box based on the page number?

Thanks for all your help

Yes you can.

You can suppress fields based on formulas
Right click the field
Click FORMAT FIELD
Click the COMMON Tab
CLick the FORMULA BUTTON to the right of SUPPRESS
Enter a formula that is true when you want to suppress the field like
PageNumber = 3
