DFS and access

Im really hoping someone can help. I have recently put in DFS version Enterprise 2003 R2. Problem is Access databases. Only one person appears to be able to be in it at a time. Ive since seen that DFS doesnt like this, so any ideas as to a workaround? thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Problem is how the access databases and the MDE was setup to handle locking.
DFS by itself is not a problem, but you may only have one share server at a time to make sure that the same file is being accessed since DFS can not replicate files that are in use.

An alternative might be to migrate to MS SQL 2005/2008 express.
