HP ProLiant DL360 G5 System Insight Display not working

I just installed Windows Server 2008 Standard on my Proliant DL360 G5. All drivers are installed except for once device that shows as Base System Device. After my research I found out that it has to do with iLo which I dont even use so its not a big deal. My issue is that the System Insight Display panel that is on the front of the server has no LEDs lit. Aren't they suppose to light up green or something? I can't figure out what else I have to install in order to get this to work.

On one messageboard it says the LEDs do not light unless there is something wrong with the system. I don't believe this becuase on another HP messageboard they suggested otherwise. This is a fairly new server so I doubt hardware failure.

You're right, most of those won't light up unless there is something wrong with the server.  You can test this by removing one of the hard drives and doing a boot.  If a light turns on, you're in luck! If not then, we'll have to investigate the situation.

I don't believe that this panel is connected to the operating system (So in theory, you shouldn't need any drivers).  However I could be wrong.

You were correct. I simply unplugged the power cable from one of the power supplies and it lit up amber.
