I have a problem with the rendering  with a menu I am working on. The menu consists of an accordion menu (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ddaccordion.htm) and a vertical menu (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/glossy-vertical-menu/). Inside each accordion panel there is a vertical menu. Everything works great in Mozilla browsers but there is a little glitch in IE that I cant resolve.

When clicking on any header to open of the accordion menu, the sub menu opens before the animation of the accordion (sliding down) finishes which in turns makes the vertical menu overlap the accordion for a couple of seconds. The same thing happens when trying to close the accordion menu. The vertical menu seems to stay on top of the accordion menu for a couple of seconds (until the accordion menu is completely closed) and then the vertical menu disappears.

Well the issue is that in IE, the height property isn't affecting the correct tag (for IE atleast). You may want to try adding the slide effect to the ul as well as the div.

Let me know if that works.
