I dont know what BES server you are running. I have 4.1.6.

Log into your BES and go to the BlackBerry Manager application. Click on "BlackBerry Domain" and then hit the Global tab and hit "Edit Properties". Create a new Policy. In it, the first policy group "Device-Only Items" has a setting called "Maximum Security Timeout". Set this to 10. Change the value of "User can change timeout" to false. On the "Password Policy Group", change "Set Password Timeout" to 10.

Make sure you assign that policy to your users after you create it! The users' devices will most likely lock and tell them something about recieving a new IT Policy.
