Hi,

Is it possible in Windows Vista Explorer to change the default display mode 'DETAILS' by 'LIST' for all folders and sub-folders ?
Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you want List view for ALL folders then one thing you will have to do is use a registry tweak to turn off the feature called Automatic Folder Type Discovery.  Another is to make each template for folder types use List view rather than the default view for that template type.  See this tutorial.  If you cannot see the screenshots in the tutorial, then find the link for joining the forum.  It's free...
