How do i clear the HP Integrated management log on a Proliant DL 380 G4

I am trying to clear the Integrated management log on a Proliant DL 380 G4 Storage Server 2003. When i select the 2 buttons Mark all items repaired and clear all IML entries. It does not remove the entries, therefore my system management homepage indicates a failed status. I have restarted the service and installed the latest P2P download from HP.

The download was already installed as part of the PSP, I was trying to clear from within system management logged on as an administrator which did not work. The explanantion on the link provided pointed me to the intregrated management log viewer within program files and this allowed me to clear the logs
