How do I keeping scrolling text in view in a Listbox or text box?

I have an application that outputs text currently to a listbox.  As the text get longer I have to scroll the listbox down to see what is happening.  Ideally I would like to insert text from the top and have the previous text move down but I am open to other ideas as long as they do not get really complicated and keep the current text in focus.  Any suggestions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
