Working with Crystal Reports 10, what is the way to have the report show the results in rows that have alternating color?  for example, every other row would have a light gray background?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The formula I use for conditionally changing the color of  detail row is:

  Remainder(RecordNumber, 2) =  0
Color(238,238,224)//it's a bit lighter than the standard CRSilver

1)  Open the section expert for the detail section (assuming you're shading alternate detail records
2) Navigate to the color tab
3) Click the conditional formula button and enter in something similar to the formula listed above.
