SBS 2003 / Exchange not routing emails as expected

We have recently installed Small Business Server 2003. The problem I am having is that Exchange is not routing emails to the user accounts as I would expect. We are retrieving our email from a POP3 account. If there is a match on the "Display Name", then the email is getting to the correct mailbox. Otherwise they are being dumped into the "Underlivered POP3 Mail" Exchange mailbox.

I have set up user accounts for all expected users/mail boxes and created ailiases for them, but this hasn't helped.

For example, email sent to (say) is not being routed to the Info mail box unless the email comes in with a display name matching the account name. That is, if I send an email to it ends up in the "undelivered" mailbox. If I reply to an email sent from, then it ends up in the Info mailbox.

What have I missed? Why is Exchange not directing emails to mail boxes based on the email address and and Aliases set up for the account?

Thanks for the links. These helped, but did not specifically solve the problem. Tracked down the cause to an incorrect setting in the pop3 configuration - the Email domain had been set to company.local and not
