I have recently installed Microsoft FRX onto my local computer.  I would like to connect to a remote Dynamics 4.0 database.  Is is there any procedures that can walk me through the connection steps?

    Accepted Solution

In FRx, go to Company > Information.  Create a new entry in here....most of this should be pretty self explanatory, the critical settings for connecting to your data are on the System Specific Information.  This is Accounting System specific, I am not sure what system you're said Dynamics 4.0, but not what flavor and I only the information for GP.

    Assisted Solution

You shouldn't have a problem as long as you can setup a proper System DSN under Control Panels --> Administrative Tools --> Data Sources (ODBC)
