<td style="position:relative"> in firfox

the Code Snippet works fine in IE
but in firefox <a> position is absolute for the entire page not relative to <td>

how can I solve this?
<td style="position:relative;">

	<a style="position:absolute;top:10px;right:20px;">...</a>

    This would be the quick fix:

    <td><div style="position:relative;">
            <a style="position:absolute;top:10px;right:20px;">...</a>

    Are you really marking up tabular data though?
