Help with an application event viewer item - RAID controller

I have this recurring entry in my event viewer under application events - indicating some issue with the raid controller.  I'm looking for any thoughts and advice for resolving this so it doesn't happen any more.

This is the information copied from the description window, and I've attached a pic of the event entry.

Do you have the newest drivers for the controller installed on the PC in question?

I'll check that and get back to you.

So I just chatted with PC manufacturer (like I should have in the first place).

The computer motherboard has a built-in RAID controller, but the system does not have RAID implemented.  So this error is just telling me there's a RAID controller that it doesn't know what to do with.  Manufacturer says I can ignore it, and possibly disable how the computer scans for this in BIOS.
