I'm kind of guessing here because I haven't done this, but I believe the report designer will use the fonts that are on your workstation.  When you run the report on the server, I'm not sure if it will look for the font on the server or on the client that is running it.  If it looks on the server, then you might only need to install the font on your workstation and the server.  If it looks on the client, then you might need to install it on your workstation and every client that will run the report.  I'm kind of inclined to think the report looks on the client for the font, since that is where it is running.

The answer does not implement what was requested by the original post.  There has to be a way to send the client any special font (like a bar code font) that is missing on the client machine.
