QuarkXPress: Import/Export of Excel tables

Is there any good way if importing and exporting simple Excel tables to/from QuarkXPress?

Hi, go4java,

what version are you using? Since QuarkXPress 6.5 this is built-in.

It's easy: When you create a new table element (via tool), in the resulting dialog click on "Link to external data". Choose the XLS and you are done.

Careful, there's a fundamental difference whether you choose to "Include geometries" and "include formats". If you do, then all updates to the styling in Excel also update the formatting in QuarkXPress. If you don't, only content changes are updated and styling in XPress retained.
