Listener is not connecting... please help

    Accepted Solution

    one simple reason for this could be that the listener.log file has reached a size limit (ulimit -n) or that its filesystem is full.
    It's usually $ORACLE_HOME/network/log/listener.log.

    ... one other, not uncommon reason could be that the listener tries to connect to a busy port.
    You could check this by comparing your listener.ora settings with 'netstat -an'  output.

    I think you should post your listener log file, so we can find more detail in your problem. May be you lost config in tnsname.ora, example :

                    (SID=listener) --or depend on your system
