how do i suppress a watermark on a condition

i want to suppress a watermark on a condition. I am not able to do that, i tried placing the suppression formula in the section expert's suppress option as well as on the watermark text's format text suppress option. but it is not suppressing, is there any other way to do that?
can i put this condition for underlay option?

Well I got the answer, I was using the shared variable value before the subreport, hence i was getting the value 0 and ultimately could not suppress the watermark, thanks anyways for your help!
