I want to get the latest version of Dynamic Data and install it. It says I need to uninstall previous versions.

1) How do I check if I have the latest version?
2) How do I uninstall the older version?

the latest version is in VS2008 SP1. You should be able to find uninstaller from the Add/Remove Programs applet.

It's not in add/remove programs. You have to use the uninstall.cmd from a visual studio command prompt:
The uninstallation process removes the new assemblies and project templates and restores the assemblies and project templates to the versions that shipped with .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Beta.
To uninstall the private-drop release of Dynamic Data, follow these steps:
    1.      From either a .NET SDK or Visual Studio command prompt (see the installation procedure for details), move to the folder where you unzipped the private-drop .zip file.
Note   If your computer is running Internet Information Services (IIS), you might need to run iisreset before you run the Dynamic Data uninstall script.
    2.      Run Uninstall.cmd.
