GidView Paging - Update Panel

I have a Gridview within an update panel. I did this to eliminate postbacks when paging through the gridview.

Problem is though the grid shows a list of companies and a user can click on the company in order to go the the company info page. when they are on say the second page of the gridview they click on the company but when they hit back on the web browser it goes back to the first page as appossed to the page they were initially on.

I know this is because its in a update panel and that in .net 3.5 sp1 they have a history point control however i am not sure how to use this with the grdivew paging.

any one got any ideas on how to do this... any code will be great
