When use the following script &nbsp;- the scripts hangs when wshell.run runs. <br />
The &quot;c:\wiseinstaller.exe&quot; program is started correctly - but the msgbox is never shown - and the wscript process is still in the process list.<br />

set wshell = CreateObject(&quot;WScript.Shel<wbr />l&quot;) <br />
wshell.run &quot;c:\wiseinstaller.exe&quot;<br />
msgbox(&quot;Finish&quot;)<br />
<br />
The problem is only on Windows 2003 Server (all updates and SP)<br />

When use the following script  - the scripts hangs when wshell.run runs. 
The "c:\wiseinstaller.exe" program is started correctly - but the msgbox is never shown - and the wscript process is still in the process list.

set wshell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell") 
wshell.run "c:\wiseinstaller.exe"
msgbox("Finish")

The problem is only on Windows 2003 Server (all updates and SP)

The term 'shell' refers to a general class of text-based command interpreters most often associated with the UNIX and Linux operating systems.
