hyperlinks on a web page i created screws up when i upload to FTP

i have created a web page with hyper links to articles on the web. but when i upload to my FTP site the hyper links get all messed up.  any help to fix this problem would be appreciated

    What are you using to create the webpage?  Some programs may create a relative link to the temp files of the linked websites on your own machine, which obviously would cause a problem when the file is uploaded.  Or if they're not fully qualified their might be a "lost-in-translation" issue going on.

    To be certain, I'd find the URLs for the hyperlinks and make sure they're fully qualified... (e.g. "" vs. "").
