Unable to access OMA. " Unable to connect to your mailbox on server xxx. Please try again later. If the problem persists contact your administrator."

I am unable to get OMA and activesync to work. Currently when I try to access OMA at http://servername/oma I get this message "  Unable to connect to your mailbox on server MBIMAIL. Please try again later. If the problem persists contact your administrator." I also get the following error in the event viewer:

Description:

Can you post the IIS log file entries generated when you try to use OMA?  There should be the initial one for /oma, followed by some others for /exchange .

resolved issue by creating a new exchange Vdir and setting a reg key to point OMA to the new exchange Vdir.
