Sendmail From address on new CentOS box.

I just set up a new CentOS box as a web server and have a form that emails confirmation messages to new users.  I can see from the email header that the email is coming from: localhost.localdomain and some emails are bouncing due to this.  How can I configure sendmail to send all outgoing emails as xxxx.mydomain.com and not localhost.localdomain?

Deepak KosarajuDevOps EngineerCommented:
set your domain name in sendmail.mc and use macro m4 to convert it to sendmail.cf
on line 155 you have following
LOCAL_DOMAIN('localhost.localdomain') dnl
change this and use
m4 sendmail.mc > sendmail.cf
service sendmail restart.
