Restricted users are not being allowed access to local installed codecs

I pushed out a custom msi with all klite codecs.

Restricted users can not watch the video DVD. I have used WM9 and zoom player(WM10-11 are not approved for install currently but we did test and it is having the same issue). While using zoom player I noticed that the users are not being allowed access(they do not show up in the dvd configuration area) to the dvd codecs.

When I log on with my profile I can perfectly play the dvd and gain access to the codecs with MP9 and Zoom.

I created a seperate area for the codecs and gave "everyone" full access to that folder and still it fails for restricted users.
Ristricted users with local admin access: DVD fails to play.

I'm stumped!

Can you set it to "run as" a user with the required priveliges? (create a generic local admin, and set the player to runwith these elevated privs.)

We ended up packaging up WinDVD and pushing it out to the clients. This worked without issue.
