Login failed - HTTP User login not allowed from here

When trying to log into our Sonicwall Pro 2040 Enhanced OS with my username and password I get the error  "Login failed - HTTP User login not allowed from here "  or if I try to log into the sonicwall through the vpn i get "Login failed - HTTPS User login not allowed from here"   But if i use the admin account, i can log in fine. What do I need to change to be able to log in with my account? Thanks

It's really up to your firewall administrator.
For each interface (WAN, LAN, DMZ/OPT) there are settings for admin and user logins. See attached.

For your WAN, the admin may have disabled both HTTP and the HTTP re-direct to HTTPS options.
For LAN, the admin may have disabled HTTPS.  Possible reason is that the SSL cert is assigned to the WAN name, but you access it from the LAN via IP address or another name.  To avoid user questions about the SSL cert error, you can disable HTTPS.

It's listed under Network > Interfaces >
For each interface, click the 'Configure' icon on the far right (looks like a pencil and paper).
