External images being loaded are flickering?

Hi All,

I'm a first timer but have been exploring the site and i think you are all legends.
Im trying to create a flash file which will loop images located on a URL. To test i downloaded them to the same folder and saved the flash file in that folder but  and still getting the same problem.

When the images are looping they are flickering. Is there a way to creat a smooth "no flicker" transition from one image to the other.

If you could also answer in terms of loading the images from URL locations that would also be great.

Sorry about that, here is the code:

loadMovie("http://www.weatherchannel.com.au/images/X_Large/National_Satellite_01.jpg",mysat);

I've created a movie with the name "mysat" as the instance and then the next frame has another movie with the instace name "mysat2" :

loadMovie("http://www.weatherchannel.com.au/images/X_Large/National_Satellite_02.jpg",mysat2);

Basically there are satelitte images located at these URLs and i'm trying to creat a satelitte loop, however when it goes from one frame to the other there is a quick white flash/flicker between each picture. I'm hoping to make a smooth swap from one to the next so that i can create the satelitte loop for the 6 images.

And for the test version which has images in the same folder i used just the image name:
Frame 1: loadMovie("National_Satellite_01.jpg",natsat1);
Frame 2: loadMovie("National_Satellite_02.jpg",natsat2);
Frame 3: loadMovie("National_Satellite_03.jpg",natsat3);

Have a look at the SWF here -> http://www.cdlabs.com.au/TWC/sat.html
FOR SOME REASON THE IMAGES HAVE TO LOAD FIRST BEFORE YOU SEE THEM. PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR THE IMAGES TO LOAD.

I' suggest using the Moviecliploader (have a look in the help file for code)
that way you can make sure that the image is loaded before removing the last one, that way you shouldnt' have the "flickering white" between the images.
