ubuntu unable to install wireless and SSL certificate
I am using ACER Aspire 4Z20Z Laptop. I have installed Ubuntu 8.10. Ethrenet net work card installed automatically. But wireless card (Atheros AR 5007 EG) not installed. How to install wirless card. And I am using a webserver which is windows 2003 server. And it is an https site. How to install .cer certificates in ubuntu.

Ubuntu has ndiswrapper in it's repositories, so install it using the package manager. It seems the ndiswrapper site has changed, it used to have a very comprehensive wiki in the Link I posted above, now it just seems to be the download link. Below is another howto to get it running:

GOOD, i have installed windows driver as you said. Now wireless is working. Thanks.
And i need other help also. I have installed WINE and Please tell me how to install Internet Explorer on it?

But i installed IE 6 but and icon was in "Internet" menu.
But when i click , it not at all responding......?

Maybe you have to uninstall again and then reinstall. Anyway, why do you want IE? Firefox is the best web browser available and it runs natively under Linux.

Actually our vendor who had developed a web application on ASP DOT NEt and It works only IE6, So i was tring......... before asking to change to work in Firefox....
