Change product key

I have installed a windows Server 2003 staderd server for testing. During installation I used a MSDN license to install the server.
Now the server will go into our production domain as is.
I already ordered a new version of W2k3 Server standard edition but do I have to replace the product key of my MSDN installation?
And if so how can I do that in W2k3 server?
(for XP I read a few articles..)

Hi VicreaExpert,

To comply with MS licencing, then you should replace the key. Below is a URL to change the key:

Cheers.

Is your new W2k3 license a volume license key?
You should not be able to change the key from an MSDN VLK to a standard OEM or full version key, since the VLK OS should not accept those serials.

I downloaded the OS from the MSDN site with a retail license key.
I think I should not have any problems with the license.

Oh ok. If it's a retail licence, then you should not change it, like Yossarian-22 said, other key will not work. It would be perfectly legal to keep the key in a production environment.
