I have a macro with plenty of WordBasic commands. Would it work faster if I convert the commands to Word2003? How can I get help to translate?
WordBasic.WaitCursor 1
WordBasic.WW7_EditGoTo Destination:="\Cell"

I do not think that converting the commands will speed up your macros.
Although I read that for long, complex Wordbasic macros you would gain performance.
see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa171369(office.11).aspx for a reference of Visual Basic equivalents for WordBasic commands
