Hi Experts,

I am clearly missing something here. I am currently trying to experiment with the new Windows deployment services in windows server 2008 enterprise. I have created a boot image in it using the boot.wim located on a vista installation disc. However, when i attempt to create a capture image using it i encounter a problem after entering my disired location and naming. The task blows up the error of 'The directory is not a subdirectory of the the root directory'
Now ideally i ve been trying to store this image on a network share, but seeing this i tried the local drives to store it on but still the issue occured. I ve also tryed to direct it to the subdirectories of the WDS installation but still it will not work
Does any know what it is im missing here?

Kind Regards

I have resolved the issue myself by starting from scratch. For some reason it worked fine this time
